Kite Festival - 24-25 June 2017

We are holding a two-day inaugural Kite Festival, "Gwyl y Barcud", on the week-end of June 24th/25th with kite-flying displays by Sky Bums of Shropshire and their friends.

Sky Bums will sell their own specially-designed kites here but children are invited to bring their own kites along if they wish.
There is no extra Farm Park daily entry charge above our normal, very modicum, £3--90 for adults and £2--90 for children.
We currently have space for campers and caravanners at our adjacent camp site. Our campers even gain free entry into the Farm Park and Kite Display.
............So who said that Cardis were tight??
By the way, I have it on good authority from Dilwyn the Donkey and Llinos the Llama, that several seals and dolphins, from across Cardigan Bay,are turning up to view the large kites above our cliffs! ….. It has their full seal of approval!!

Cardigan Island is in the southern half of Cardigan Bay, 2 miles from Pembrokeshire, 33 miles from Tenby - map and directions.

Visitors enjoy beautiful scenery, an island nature reserve, dramatic cliffs, clear blue sea, maritime flowers.

See bottlenose dolphins, Atlantic grey seals, seal pups, harbour porpoises, sea-birds, rare choughs and skylarks.

Meet all our friendly farm animals including Dilwyn the donkey, pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, Shetland ponies, Welsh mountain ponies and rabbits.

We also have some friendly animals from further afield, such as, Vietnamese pigs (Kune Kune pigs) and piglets; emus and Llinos the llama [Careful! She occasionally spits her food out!! Not very good  table manners, but very funny if she spits at Mum or Dad!].
